Problem. Step, the teen money app, tested a new onboarding that lets teens start sign-up before involving a parent. Teen sign-ups rose 12% (p < 0.001). But the share of sign-ups a parent approves fell from 62% to 57%, funded accounts rose only 1% (not significant), and support tickets from parents rose. The growth team wants to ship. What do you recommend?
